Jewish Records Indexing – Poland is a prime example of the power of cooperative effort by volunteers and researcher with a common interest. JRI-Poland's success to date is due to the boundless energy and dedication of genealogists around the world.

While JRI-Poland is volunteer-managed, funds are needed to cover the costs of our increasing scope of activities. Your valuable contributions will enable JRI-Poland to:

• Expedite the work of the Shtetl CO-OP initiative.
• Support the work of professional translators in translating/transliterating records from the more difficult Russian language years (for which qualified volunteers are not available).
• Help build the database of records for more Shtetls and for more years.
• Index the records for your town in the Polish State Archives (not on microfilm).
